Free shipping on this large made in Alaska ulu knife with 6.25" blade made of 440 US stainless steel. The cultured ivory handle is made of high strength resin for an enduring knife and is backed by manufacturer’s warranty (enclosed). It also comes with a walnut stand as well as use and care instructions. It is made in the Inupiat style, a tribe of the far north of Alaska. Proudly produced in Alaska by Alaskans. Stainless steel blade is honed to a fine finish with a single beveled blade for cutting efficiency. Etching was rendered by renowned Alaskan native artists.
Includes stand, instruction booklet and is new in box. The ulu is a unique knife in that the handle is over the blade allowing for more cutting power, accuracy and a smooth rocking motion. This knife is great for those with problem hands and could use a little help. It was invented thousands of years ago by the Alaskan native peoples.
